It's the 20th anniversary of this LEGENDARY album. Janet Jackson made this album from a dark place but she wrote and sung her way out of it! Janet stripped herself completely bare for the world to see and created a masterpiece. At 11 years old, I connected to this album so much that it changed my life and I wouldn't be who I am if it wasn't for, The Velvet Rope.
