R&B Talk: Who The King Of R&B Debate

Since this YOUNG MAN started this foolishness about him being the "King Of R&B" of his generation he created a social media frenzy. People started to create list based on their favorites instead of basically them on impact and hits. I really was going to leave this alone about after this YOUNG MAN stepped up to the R&B legend Keith Sweat so disrespectful, I finally had to speak up. I decided to say who I feel BASED ON FACTS who the King Of R&B was of every decade but I don't leave out people that had a run during the decade as well. I started from the 1950's to the current. After watching this you will RESPECT my choices because I based them on facts not on my favorites.

I closed the video with a classic from Marvin Gaye, "Mercy Mercy Me (The Ecology)", as I talked about this "King Of R&B" foolishness. I hope you enjoy these artists and support their music by STREAMING so we can continue to prove that R&B is alive and well.

Current R&B Bangers 111

Back with 4 NEW bangers this week from Justin Garner, Trace/MusiqSoulChild, Mac Ayres, & Anyta Francis. I opened the video with Marvin Gaye's "Little Darling (I Need You) since this was my family's theme song for this Thanksgiving holiday. I closed the video on two things; I talked about this new artist Nicole Bus who's on the rise thanks to the NY DJ's and her new song "You". Also, Mary J. Blige's legendary "My Life" album (my favorite album of all time) that's turning 24 so I can end on a classic from that album. I hope y'all enjoy and support these artists' music.

Current R&B Bangers 110

Back with 4 new bangers from Mariah Carey, Avery Wilson, Gene Noble, and Mac Ayers. I opened with the timeless record "You Haven't Done Nothing" from Stevie Wonder because I attended a Stevie Wonder tribute party with my sister Alise, and I wanted to talk about my experience. I closed with a Sam Cooke ballad "Nothing Can Change This Love" in dedication to my grandfather because this week marks the 8th year anniversary of his passing and I just wanted to show my love to him. I hope you enjoy these artists and support their music by STREAMING, so we can continue to prove that R&B is alive and well.
